There are two main activities based on the old tried and tested recipe of vocabulary visualising and animating.
1. Activity of reading a word and matching it with its respective visualisation into an image
2. Activity of reading a phrase and matching it with its respective animation into an image, symbolised
These two main vocabulary activities are accompanied with activities of extra practice such as:
· Activity of shuffling the set of words or phrases of the main activity and matching them with their visualisation/animation, symbolised
· Activity of listening the words/phrases and matching them with their visualisation/animation, symbolised
· Activity of writing the words/phrases according to their visualisation/animation depicted or after listening to them, symbolised
- Encompassed into the previous activity there is an activity of repeating the word after having clicked and listened to it in order to achieve a better articulation, symbolised
· A more playful and competitive activity of matching the words (written or heard) with their visualisation within a time limit specified by the learner, symbolised
· Finally there is an activity which gives you the opportunity to explore the words and their meaning on your own by moving your mouse over the main image. When you hover your mouse over the depicted object its name appears in Greek and if you click on it you can also listen to it, symbolised☸
Additionally through buttons embedded in the main activity, conjugation forms of nouns and verbs are made available according to the respective language level set.
Attention! These activities are not designed to teach and explain grammar. For this purpose you definitely need to get advice either from a teacher of Greek or reference books for learning Greek as a foreign language.
